Salvation

Do you know if you are saved? Some may ask, "Saved from what?" The answer is saved from sin's effect on mankind and it's ultimate judgement. The Bible calls it spiritual death. Because of sin, man was seperated from the Father God. Sin caused man to be an enemy, an outlaw towards God. A place of eternal seperation was man's destiny. Hell was never God's plan for His man. Hell was intended for the devil and his angels. Isaiah 5:14 says hell was actually enlarged to accomodate mankind.

God does not send man to hell. Mankind, through rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, chooses to send himself to that horrible place. Jesus Christ, God's Son, came to restore that which sin had broken. Jesus came to give us abundant, eternal life! He came to restore us back to a relationship with Father God. Jesus became man's sacrifice for the punishment of sin and spiritual death. Salvation is through the simple acceptance of the sacrifice that Jesus accomplished through His death, burial and resurrection. By accepting Jesus Christ, sin's dominion over you is broken, eternal life replaces spiritual death within you and you become a "New Creature." Here are some other scriptures to help you.

John 14:6 says, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

John 1:12 says, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."

I John 5:11-13 says, "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

John 3:3 says, "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

I John 5:1 says, "Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God."

Simply ask Jesus into your heart and accept what He has done for you. Let us know via email, letter or phone that you have made that decision. God bless you!
