The Garden of Gethsemene was a very telling experience in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ. The very word Gethsemene means "olive press." It was here that Jesus was faced with every unholy emotional and mental pressure that has ever plagued mankind. It was here also that Jesus was tempted to not complete his assignment as our Redeemer. I've often thought of the absolute courage that Jesus demonstrated in that moment when he could've backed away and said no. His decision to finish the job of bearing our guilt and punishment for sin will forever rank in my mind as one of the most heroic actions and decisions in the history of mankind. Jesus was and is truely awesome!

When we are faced with difficult decisions in life, we have a wonderful example to follow. Like Jesus did in the place of pressure, always do what is the Father's will. We can find that in His Word by His Spirit! It may not always be easy, but it will always work out right. Have a great week!
